Chatham, Kent, England
First guitar:
A secondhand Spanish Acoustic guitar with
nylon strings bought for £10. Strings
quickly changed to Rotosound electric
11's.
Previous
history:
Over 30 years playing in various bands
including The Steve Allen Blues Band, 50's
Rock n'Roll band 'Mick's Bunch', a spell
on the Function Band circuit and the band
Blueshift.
Inspirations:
Could fill a book with these which
initially started with Eddie
Cochran, Buddy Holly then on to
Leadbelly, Lighthing Hopkins, Rolling
Stones and this opened the door to Muddy
Waters and Jimmy Reed. Currently listening
to T-Bone Walker, Alex Schultz, Junior
Watson, Jimmi Vaughan.
