bloody brilliant!
G'day guys thanks for an awesome show last night i had a brilliant time! more upbeat than what i was expecting but loads of fun. i don't think i've ever seen a modern blues harp player give it that much sweat and soul, it was hard to contain my enjoyment! would love to hear a 'left hook' on a dinah washington or bessie smith number sometime.. thanks for the shout out! catch you next time, xx - laura

You guys kick ass!
Finally made it to one of your gigs last night- the place was packed & jumping! Your tight rhythms and bawlin' harmonica had the crowd shouting out loud in excitement- there can't have been a more enjoyable live act to see anywhere else in town!

Saw You in Kinsale

Thank You for the music ;o)
Hey guys, that were great nights in Kinsale with You and the other bands. Two fantastic nights of blues. I really like You're style. As I wrote Geoff just today, You're CD is actually one of my favourites, just beside Van Morrison's Keep it Simple and Michel Petrucciani's Live in Tokyo with Steve Gadd and Anthony Jackson. So - keep on bluesin' - hope to see You again! I think, i have to come to London in the next months ;o) Greets!

Thank you!
Thank you for the very nice evening at the Blues Bar on the 11th of January! I'm the norwegian lady who bought your CD after the show. I have listened to it a lot, and I really enjoyed it - makes me happy. I am so impressed by the quality of you all as musicians! Best wishes from Liv Rumohr Selland! PS: I recorded you on my mobile phone at the Blues Bar and now I've got it as my ring tone.

At a gig

The hardest working band in the Blues!!
I've seen Tim (and he is a gentleman) and the lads many times in London. They don't come much better than this ! So if you want an evening of authentic Chicago blues and West Coast Swing, this is the band to see. Their cd will give you an appetite that will only be saited by catching them at their very best, live!!

Great Harp Tone
From 1 harp player to another - great tone & feel! Tim & the Contenders could hold up to most US blues bands - great West Coast swing!

"Aint Nothing But"

Web Site
Great new site, like it very much. Down in London at the end of Sept but will unfortunatly miss your gigs at "Aint nothing But". Thanks for the support in the marathon. Your album "Left Hook on the Blues" kept me sane while pounding the streets, an excellent album. Hope to catch up soon. cheers!
